The value of asking, "what if we don't?"

I often notice how many agency leaders struggle to quantify the impact of their work.

I hear it constantly - "We can't get any metrics" or "It's impossible to measure our real value."

This uncertainty often leads to undervaluing your work and falling back on time-based pricing. You might hear yourself saying "We can't charge THAT because we can't prove our impact."

Here's a revealing question that you should definitely ask...

"What would happen if we don't do this project?"

The client's answer should reveal why they're really sitting across from you and why your solution matters to their success.

Even if you think you're just one small piece of their puzzle, this question often uncovers that you're far more crucial to their success than you realised.

Don't undervalue your impact. Sometimes the best way to understand your worth is to help clients envision the cost of not doing something.

**** in the absence of good images, imagine this is you asking, 'what happens if we don't do it' 😃
